Terms of Use
The Car Locator is a private, invitation-only sourcing tool for licensed automotive dealers, brokers and their staff. By requesting access, signing in or using the service you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use it
Accounts are issued by us or by your organization's account admin. Each account belongs to one named person. You must be at least 18 and acting for a business in the automotive trade. We can approve, decline, limit or close any account at our discretion.
2. Permitted use
You may search, view and act on listings to locate, buy, trade or broker vehicles for your own business and its customers. That is the only commercial use permitted.
3. What you may not do
- No scraping or automated access. No bots, crawlers, scripts, browser automation, headless browsers or any tool that collects data from the service in bulk or without a person at the keyboard.
- No copying, resale or redistribution. Don't export, republish, sell, license, syndicate or feed listing data, dealer information, prices, photos or window stickers into another product, website, marketplace, database, CRM or AI model.
- No sharing accounts. Don't share your login or let anyone outside your organization use your access. Each person needs their own account.
- No misuse of dealer contacts. Contact information is for genuine vehicle inquiries. No mass marketing, spam or unsolicited bulk outreach.
- No interference. Don't probe, overload, reverse engineer or work around usage limits, security checks or access controls.
4. Data and accuracy
Listings are gathered from third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Price, availability, mileage, equipment and condition are not guaranteed. Always confirm directly with the selling dealer before relying on a listing. Window stickers are provided where available and may be reproductions, not originals.
5. Ownership
The service, its design and its compilation of data belong to us and our data providers. Using the service gives you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use it under these terms, and nothing more.
6. Monitoring and limits
We record sign-ins, searches, vehicle views and similar activity, including time, approximate location and device, to run the service, enforce these terms and apply usage limits. Your organization's account admin can see activity for their team. Searches are subject to daily and monthly limits.
7. Suspension and termination
We can suspend or end access at any time, without notice, if we believe these terms have been broken or the service is being misused. Data collected in violation of these terms must be deleted. We may pursue any remedy available, including for unauthorized commercial use of the data.
8. No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost deals, profits or data, arising from use of the service or reliance on any listing. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
